About Trajectory Trace

A powerful solution for storing, querying, and visualizing trajectories of detected road users.

Core Technologies

Timescale Logo

PostgreSQL & Timescale

The data is stored in a Postgres based timescale database with PostGIS extension. The GraphQL API can be used to create individual queries on historical and real-time data and to supply the front end with data for visualisation.

MQTT Logo

MQTT

With Trajectory Trace, complete trajectories of detected road users can be stored, queried and visualised consistently and efficiently. Various sensors can be connected from any location via MQTT.

GraphQL Logo

GraphQL

The GraphQL API can be used to create individual queries on historical and real-time data and to supply the front end with data for visualisation.

Development & Research

Trajectory Trace is developed by e:fs TechHub GmbH as part of the DISRUPT research project based on Superb Data Kraken. The publicly available data source FK (research intersection) was provided as part of the SAVeNoW research project. If further information is required, you can find out more on the following GitHub documentation.
